Introduction The Association, founded in 1881 supports local anglers as well as many visiting anglers to the West Norfolk area, on a Non commercial basis. It's main objective from its constitution reads: "The objectives of the Association shall be to provide the facilities of angling for it's members, including organization and the provision of angling and to promote the interests of angling and anglers". For many years the Association has been in the market looking for new waters, as the vast majority of the Association's existing waters are rivers and drains on short term leases from the National Rivers Authority and land owners within the West Norfolk area. Currently there appears to be a migration within the angling community away from river fishing to the more commercially aware lake style fishery's. In light of this situation the purchase and ongoing development of our most recent lake fishery should prove a sound investment for the Association's members. The site is at the Shepards Port complex, Beach Road Snettisham Norfolk.(See attached site plans) 1.
